Supporting Air Quality Professionals
The field of air quality management has developed considerably over the past decade with the development of national and European air quality strategies, and further controls on industrial pollution and for protecting sites of ecological value from air pollution impacts. Air quality issues have also become further integrated into planning and transport policy.
The IES has an established partnership arrangement with the IAQM whereby financial, legal and administrative support was provided during the formative years. The Institution enthusiastically continues this relationship with the IAQM, affording members of both Institutions closer links. Both the IES and IAQM hope to further cement their relationship by offering CPD events in the future.
