Requirements
Applications are judged by the Application Review Panel (ARP). All professional members must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the discipline for Environmental Science and should have had varied interdisciplinary environmental experience. Professional experience can include work in commerce, conservation, consultancy, industry, legal practice, public sector, teaching and research.
Applications are graded on a points system, with the total made up from a combination of academic and work experience. The final decision on the level of experience will be a matter for the ARP. A dissatisfied candidate can appeal to the IES Council.

- International qualifications will be translated into their UK equivalents. For European applicants the European Qualifications Framework will be used when it comes into force in 2010. Before 2010 European applicants and other international candidates should contact their local British Council Office for more information on how their degree translates.
